School News

Attention All Parents/Guardians: The school counselors have just finished meeting with over 800 8th (BMS, Bedminster, & other), 9th, 10th, and 11th graders to help each student select his or her individualized course of studies for the 2017-2018 year. We ask that you now review your child's course requests with them carefully. Once individual requests are made, we utilize that information to build the school's master schedule. Thus, it is imperative that we build it with the proper requests.

Your child has until Thursday, April 6th to request any changes that they would like to make; course adjustments at this time are expected and not a problem. After this date, we cannot honor any type of convenience changes as it is too disruptive to the schedule.

Therefore, this is the time to consider questions such as:
Does my child need a study hall so that he or she can get homework done during the day so he or she is able to devote after school time to sports or a job?
Will several AP or Honors level courses demand too much of my child's time and energy?
Has my child selected elective options that interest him or her knowing that he or she may not get his or her first choice?
Thank you for partnering with us to plan for a successful 2017-18 school year.
