SCHEDULING FOR 2017-18
A Message from Guidance for the Parents/Guardians of Rising 10th and 11th Grade Students: As you know, it is scheduling season in the guidance office. The 2017-18 Program of Studies may be accessed from the BHS Home Page. Please review the Program of Studies and the choices your child is making with regard to his or her schedule carefully as they are used to build students' individual schedules, as well as the school's master schedule. The final day for students to make changes to their course requests for the next school year is April 6, 2017.
Please click here to learn about elective courses to be offered by the Science Department for the 2017-18 School Year. Contact you counselor with any questions.
Planning and preparing for the 2017-2018 school year scheduling process will begin after the conclusion of marking period two. During this time, Freshmen and Sophomores will have a pre-arranged one-to-one meeting with their counselor where you will discuss course requests and available options for next year. This meeting is an important opportunity for you to discuss future academic/career goals and to create course requests that will help you explore your interests. Your scheduled appointment time is posted on the glass hallway outside of the guidance office. It is important to be prepared and prompt to your scheduled meeting. The Guidance Department looks forward to assisting you with your 2017-2018 academic planning.

STUDENT DROP OFF
Parents/guardians who are entering the campus from Olcott Ave. in the morning must drop off students in front of the Olcott building. Student drop off is not permitted in the student parking lot. Only those who are assigned to park in the lot between the Olcott building and the high school are allowed to enter this parking lot. It is our goal to separate the cars that are dropping off students from those that are parking. Doing so helps to minimize the chance of accidents. Thank you for your cooperation with this most important safety issue.
