SCHEDULING FOR 2019-20

PROCEDURE FOR GOING HOME SICK
Students who are ill must go to the Health Office and be evaluated by the nurse prior to contacting parents/guardians and requesting to be picked up from school.  It is imperative that students follow this procedure so that the Health Office can maintain accurate records of student illnesses.

CANCELLED  BHS CHOIR FUNDRAISER:  INCREDIBLES 2
Due to the snow forecast for Saturday, The Incredibles 2 carnival and movie fundraiser has been postponed to a later date, TBD.  An announcement will be posted in the Friday Folder when a new date has been scheduled. Thank you for your support in our fundraiser!

IMPORTANT SAFETY REMINDER FROM BERNARDSVILLE POLICE
The Bernardsville Police Department reminds all drivers that the speed limit on Wesley Ave is 15 mph. Please slow down and adhere to posted signs. It is important that we prioritize student and staff safety on and near school grounds.

PAYMENT DUE FOR CAPS AND GOWNS
Attention Seniors and Senior Parents: $25 for caps and gowns is due by Friday February 1st to Ms. Nicole Boyce. Cash or check is accepted. Please make checks payable to Bernards High School. If you have any questions, please contact Ms. Boyce at nboyce@shsd.org.

SCREENING OF ANGST - A FILM EXPLORING ANXIETY
The Bernards Township Municipal Alliance Against Substance Abuse, Bernards Township Health Department, the Governors Council on Drug and Alcohol Abuse, Bernards Township Parent Teacher Organizations, and Blueprint Mental Health will be hosting a screening of the documentary film "Angst" on Thursday, January 24th at 6:30 pm at the Ridge High School Performing Arts Center.  Click here for more information.  Click here for a flyer.

SOMERSET HILLS GOT TALENT
Somerset Hills is hosting its first ever talent show. "Somerset Hills Got Talent". It will be in the BHS PAC on February 6th from 7-9 p.m.! Students and staff from Bedwell, BMS, and BHS are encouraged to enter. New     ACT BOOTCAMP
Catalyst's ACT Bootcamp for Bernards is next weekend! This momentum building weekend seminar gives students the insight and confidence they need on the day of the test. Students will also leave with Catalyst's self-study materials for sustained practice right up until the test. Tuition for each Bootcamp is just $175. The ACT Bootcamp at BHS Saturday, June 2nd from 9am-1pm and Sunday, June 3rd from 9am-1pm.  Deadline is May 30th!
